all aspects of State and/or Federal regulations
o Focused review for specific areas of practice in ambulatory
surgery centers
o Consultation for full hospital review, including all aspects
of State
and/or Federal Regulation for all departments
o Focused review for specific areas/needs/departments
in hospitals
o Follow-up to State and/or Federal complaint investigations
performed
by state surveyors for hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers
o Assistance in writing policies/procedures to meet regulatory
requirements
o EMTALA review
o HIPAA review
o OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens review
o Restraint use compliance review
o Patient Rights compliance review
I will also provide focused reviews for compliance
with regulations for: Swingbed, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens
Exposure Control Plan, Universal Precautions, Infectious/Hazardous
Waste, EMTALA, HIPAA, Patient Rights, and Department-specific
needs for Ancillary Services, including Nursing, Emergency
Department, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Physical Therapy,
Laboratory, Dietary, Medical Records, Pharmacy, Respiratory
Care, Surgical Services, Anesthesia Services, Psychiatric
Services, Infection Control, Medical Staff, Human Resources,
and Quality/Risk Management.
